Rose K2 are special gas permeable lenses that are used to treat Keratoconus, Corneal Transplant patients, and Pellucid Marginal Degeneration.
These lenses were invented by Paul Rose in New Zealand who wanted to create a lens for patients who suffered from Keratoconus, an eye disease where the surface of the cornea becomes cone-shaped. From its initial development, the brand has grown throughout the years.
There are now many types of Rose K2 lenses including:
- The Rose K2 lens with front surface aberration control
- The Rose K2 Irregular Cornea (IC) lens
- The Rose K2 Post Graft (PG) lens for post corneal surgical cases
- The Rose K2 NC lens specifically for nipple cones.
